Rules & Regulations
Competition
The competition shall consist of a single round of 18 holes (system 36 stable ford) format of play, and in accordance with R&A limited the Rules of Golf and local rules of the Club. The Tournament is open to all amateur golfers with recognized handicaps.
Entry Fee
The entry fee will include goodie bag, 2 round of 18 hole green, caddy & buggy (on twin sharing), 2x Lunch, 1x Breakfast, 1 Stay over Night at Batam View Hotel or Turi Beach Reosrt) prizes, & Lucky Draw.
Division & Winners
* Best gross overall Men's
* "A" Division
* "B" Division
* Ladies Division
Registration
All players are required to register at least 30 minutes before their starting times.
Entry Conditions
There shall be no refund of entry fee after the closing date. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or eject entries,and to adjust the handicap range of each division.
Closing Date
The closing date for entries is 4th Nov '06. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organizing committee.
Tee Boxes
All division tee off from the one tee boxes, ladies from all divisions tee off from the red tee boxes.
Starting Times
- 1st day - on Saturday, 11th November - Competitors shall start at 10:30 hours (Batam Time) at Tering Bay Golf
and Palm Springs Golf for option.
- 2nd day - Competitors shall start 07:00 hours (Batam Time) at Palm Springs Golf and Tering Bay Golf for option.
Player who arrive at their tee will be allowed to joint in the game but the scores will not be counted for an
incomplete round.
Tournament Director
All complaints, protests and disputes shall immediately be referred to the Tournament Director (Mr. Alex Leksmana & Mr. Zulbakri) and their decision shall be final.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather resulting in the inability of the competition being continued, the following will apply :
* If the entire field has completed 9 holes or more, score for the first 9 holes, played will be used determine the
winner.
* If any player fails to complete at least 9 hole, all prizes including tournament prizes will given away via a lucky
draw except hole in one.
Score Card
Players are required to record the actual gross on their scorecards according to the number of stokes played. No other form of recording will be accepted. Please ensure all scorecards are signed by both players and markers.
Prize Giving
Prize-giving shall follow the completion of the competition on Sunday, 12th November 2006 at Palm Springs Golf. Refreshments will be provided.
Hole-In-One Prizes
Attractive prizes will be awarded for hole-in-one achievements on designated holes of the two courses.
Cash money Rp.50.000.000 ; 1 (one) Year Term Membership @ Tering Bay ; 1 (one) Year Term Membership @ Palm Springs ; 1 (one) Night stay at Turi Beach Resort ; 1 (one) Night stay at Batam View Beach Resort.
In the event of more than one winner at a same hole, the prize allocated for that hole will be shared equally by the winner at that hole.
Novelty Game
There shall be prizes at both Clubs for the :
* Longest Drive Hole 10 @ Tering Bay & 8 Hole Island @ Palm Springs
* Nearest to The pin Hole 4 @ Tering Bay & Hole 8 Resort @ Palm Springs
* Nearest to the Line 17 @ Tering Bay & Hole 5 Island @ Palm Springs
Lucky Draw
All participants are entitled to the Lucky Draw. Attractive prizes to be won !!
Speed-Up Play
Players are required to speed up play wthout undue delay. There shall be no call on hole for all par 3s. If your ball is within a putter length to the hole, you are still required to hole out the hole. The Marshall has the right to apply the call-on-hole rule when necessary.
